Grutte Mûne, Broeksterwâld
The Grutte Mûne (English: ''Great Mill'', Dutch: ''De Grote Molen'') is a smock mill in Broeksterwâld, Friesland, Netherlands which has been restored to working order. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument, number 11679. (Click on "Technische gegevens" to view.) History In 1880 a windmill was built on this site by millwright Oege Plantinga of Wânswert. This mill was burnt down in 1887. The ''Grutte Mûne'' was built to replace it by millwright Gerben van Wieren of Jannum. It was originally built with two Archimedes' screws. The mill was at one time equipped with Patent sails. In 1934, one of the Archimedes' screws was transferred to the ''Lytse Mûne''. The spurwheel needed to drive the second screw was removed around 1986 and later reused in gristmill De Vlijt. A centrifugal pump was installed in 1943 and the mill ceased to work. The mill was restored in 1959 and again in 1975, at which time the patent system sails were replaced by commons sails. In 1977 it was sold to Stich ...

Hegebeintumer Mûne
The Hegebeintumer Mûne () is a smock mill in Hegebeintum, Friesland, Netherlands which was built in 1860. The mill has been restored to working order. It is listed as a Rijksmonument, number 15629. History A mill stood on this site in 1830. The ''Hegebeintumer'' ''Mûne'' was built in 1860. It drained part of the De Mear polder. On 8 May 1969, the local water board put forward a plan to mechanise the mill because nobody could be found to work it. Permission was reluctantly granted by the Provincial Mills Commission. The ''Hegebeintumer Mûne'' was in regular use until 1973. The mill was sold to Stichting De Fryske Mole () on 4 May 1976 and restored in 1977. In 2006, the mill was officially listed as being held in reserve for use in an emergency. Description The ''Hegebeintumer Mûne'' is what the Dutch describe as an ''grondzeiler''. It is a two-storey smock mill on a single-storey base. There is no stage, the sails reaching almost to the ground. The mill is winded by tailpol ...

Muné Tsenpo
Muné Tsenpo () also known as ''Murub Tsenpo'' was the second son of King Trisong Detsen and the de-facto King of Tibet (r.797-799), from the Yarlung dynasty. Since his older brother died at a young age, Muné Tsenpo was enthroned when his father retired, and only reigned for one year and seven months. His name is a Zhangzhung name, meaning 'Namkha Tsenpo' or 'Sky King'. King Trisong Detsen had three sons. The eldest, Mutri Tsenpo, apparently died young. When Trisong Detsen retired in c.797 to take up residence at the Nyugmakhar Palace (sMyug ma mkar) in Zungkhar (Zung mkhar), he handed power to the next eldest surviving son, Muné (Munrub) Tsenpo. Most sources say that Muné Tsenpo's reign lasted only about a year and a half during which time he held important spiritual convocations at Samye and sponsored legal bills until his death at the age of 17 years. Some western historians believe this would have been too short and suggest he reigned from 797 to 804. The ''Deb-ston' ...

Motor Unit Number Estimation
Motor unit number estimation (MUNE) is a technique that uses electromyography to estimate the number of motor units in a muscle. Principles A motor unit consists of one alpha motor neuron and all the muscle fibres it innervates. Muscles differ in the number of motor units that they contain, and how many muscle fibres are within each unit (innervation ratio). In a general sense, muscles that require specificity of movement, such as muscles in charge of eye movement, have fewer fibres per unit, while those that are meant for less specific tasks, such as the calf muscles in charge of jumping, have more. MUNE uses a general formula of: Number of motor units = compound muscle action potential size divided by the mean surface-detected motor unit action potential size The compound muscle action potential (CMAP) size is found using supramaximal stimulation of the motor nerve to the muscle or muscle group (similar to a nerve conduction study). It is recorded using surface electrodes ...
