TinyMUCK or, more broadly, a MUCK, is a type of user-extendable online text-based role-playing game, designed for role playing and social interaction. Backronyms like "Multi-User Chat/Created/Computer/Character/Carnal Kingdom" and "Multi-User Construction Kit" are sometimes cited, but are not the actual origin of the term; "muck" is simply a play on the term MUD. History *The original TinyMUCK 1.0 server was written by Stephen White from University of Waterloo in winter of 1990, based on TinyMUD 1.5.2 codebase. Main Uralian Fault
The Main Uralian Fault (MUF) runs north–south through the middle of the Ural Mountains for over 2,000 km. It separates both Europe from Asia and the three, or four, western megazones of the Urals from the three eastern megazones: namely the Pre-Uralian Foredeep, West Uralian, and the Central Uralian to the west, and the Tagil-Magnitogorskian, East Uralian, and Transuralian to the east. The Russian Plate is often included as the fourth megazone to the west. On the west side of the fault the rocks represent the sediments of the eastern continental margin zone of the European Plate (Baltica). On the east the rocks are accreted oceanic and island arc basalts, ultramafics and volcanics as well as the sediments of the western continental margin zones of the Siberian craton ( Angara Plate) on the north and the Kazakhstan craton on the south. Maximum Usable Frequency
In radio transmission maximum usable frequency (MUF) is the highest radio frequency that can be used for transmission between two points via reflection from the ionosphere (skywave or "skip" propagation) at a specified time, independent of transmitter power. This index is especially useful in regard to shortwave transmissions. In shortwave radio communication, a major mode of long distance propagation is for the radio waves to reflect off the ionized layers of the atmosphere and return diagonally back to Earth. In this way radio waves can travel beyond the horizon, around the curve of the Earth. However the refractive index of the ionosphere decreases with increasing frequency, so there is an upper limit to the frequency which can be used. Above this frequency the radio waves are not reflected by the ionosphere but are transmitted through it into space. The Moderate Youth League ( sv, Moderata ungdomsförbundet ; MUF), officially known in English as the Swedish Young Conservatives, is the youth wing of the Swedish Moderate Party. Of the political youth organizations that received financial support from the Swedish National Board for Youth Affairs in 2009, it had the highest number of members. The Moderate Youth League is more libertarian-leaning and more radical than the mother party. Manchester United Football Ground Railway Station
Manchester United Football Ground railway station, often known as the Old Trafford Halt or Manchester United FC Halt, is a railway station adjacent to Old Trafford football stadium in Stretford, Greater Manchester. It is on the southern Liverpool Lime Street-Manchester Piccadilly railway line, between Deansgate and Trafford Park. Since 2018, matchday services to and from the station do not operate at the request of the club due to health and safety concerns. Layout The station was constructed by the Cheshire Lines Committee and opened on 21 August 1935. It was provided with one timber-built platform and was served, on match days only, by a shuttle service of steam-hauled trains from Manchester Central railway station. The Muslim United Front (MUF) was a 'polyglot coalition' of Islamic Kashmiri political parties that contested the 1987 Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly election in the erstwhile Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Material unaccounted for (MUF), in the context of nuclear material, refers to any discrepancy between a nuclear-weapons state's physical inventory of nuclear material, and the book inventory. The difference can be either a positive discrepancy (an apparent gain of material) or a negative discrepancy (an apparent loss of material). Nuclear accounting discrepancies are commonplace and inevitable due to the problem of accurately measuring nuclear materials. This problem of inaccurate measurement provides a potential loophole for diversion of nuclear materials for weapons production. In a large plant, even a tiny percentage of the annual through-put of nuclear material will suffice to build one or more nuclear weapons. Zdenko Muf
Zdenko Muf (Serbian Cyrillic: Зденко Муф; born 21 July 1971) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career Born in Smederevska Palanka, Muf started out at his local club Mladost Goša, before moving to Radnički Beograd still as a junior. He spent five years at the club, making his First League of FR Yugoslavia debut in the 1992–93 season. Alongside his teammate Vladan Milojević, Muf moved abroad in the summer of 1993, signing with Greek club PAS Giannina. He was the Beta Ethniki top scorer with 29 goals from 33 appearances in the 1993–94 season. Subsequently, together with Milojević, Muf was transferred to Kalamata, helping the club win promotion to the top flight in 1995. He made his Alpha Ethniki debut in the 1995–96 season, before being loaned out to his former club PAS Giannina. In the summer of 1996, Muf moved to Spain and joined Segunda División side Badajoz.
