MuchMusic VJ Search
''VJ Search'' is the title of a reality television program aired on Canada, Canadian music video TV station MuchMusic. Focused on finding a new MuchMusic VJ (media personality), VJ to join the existing MuchMusic on-air personalities, the original search was a weekend-long on-air live event in 1995, with the first season crafted as a reality series presented in 2006, followed by a season series in 2009 and 2013. By 2014, MuchMusic had reduced its music content significantly, cancelling all VJ hosted programming and dropping "Music" from the station name, rebranding itself as Much. As such, 2013 was the last season of ''VJ Search''. The winners of the series, who all became MuchMusic VJs, were Tim Deegan in 2006, Liz Trinnear in 2009, and Chloe Wilde in 2013. Lindsay Robins (born December 18, 1986, in Montreal, Quebec) is a singer-songwriter who wrote and performed the theme song "What Would You Do" for the '' VJ Search'' reality series on MuchMusic, which went on to be the 2007 recipient of The North American Promax Award for Best Music Package/Theme Song. She wrote and performed music for the television series '' Instant Star'' and, in 2006, released a solo rock album, ''Dirty Chemistry'', on Aquarius Records. CHBN-FM (91.7 MHz) is a Top 40/CHR radio station based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The station, which is owned by Rogers Radio, a division of Rogers Sports & Media, operates with an ERP of 96 kWs. CHBN's studios are located on Gateway Boulevard in Edmonton, while its transmitter is located near Anthony Henday Drive in eastern Edmonton. CHBN is branded as ''Kiss 91.7''. ''MuchOnDemand'' (also called MOD) is an hour-long per broadcast viewer interactive television program aired on MuchMusic, Monday through Friday at 5pm ET. It was broadcast live from 299 Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario. ''The Best of MuchOnDemand'', aired Sundays at 10am ET, highlighting the best moments on the show from the past week. ''MuchOnDemand'' acted as MuchMusic's flagship show in a similar manner as MTV's U.S. music video countdown show ''Total Request Live''. One King Street West, Toronto
One King West Hotel & Residence (or 1 King West) is a condo hotel located at 1 King Street West in the financial district of Toronto, Ontario. It was completed in 2006 after a new tower was attached to the side of the heritage Dominion Bank Building (1914), itself an early 13-storey skyscraper. Four additional floors were also added on top of the heritage building. The site for One King West also included the neighbouring Michie & Co. Grocers & Wine Merchant at 7 King Street West which was demolished in 2001 to accommodate the residential tower. Yellowcard is an American rock band who formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. Their official lineup currently consists of lead singer Ryan Key, lead guitarist Ryan Mendez, bassist Josh Portman and violinist Sean Mackin. Gladstone Hotel, Toronto
Gladstone House (formerly the Gladstone Hotel) is a boutique hotel at 1214 Queen Street West in the Parkdale area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Since renovations in the early 2000s, the hotel has become an arts hub in the West Queen West neighbourhood of Toronto. The hotel's restaurant and bar is located on the main floor and is known as Gladstone House Bistro + Bar.
