Mowag Trojan Infantry Fighting Vehicle
The AIFV ( armored infantry fighting vehicle) Mowag Trojan was built as a prototype and tested in the New IFV program NSpz (Neuer Schützenpanzer) for Switzerland in 1990. The NSpz was intended to replace the M113 used by the Swiss Army. It was first equipped with the Steyr SP 3E/300 turret, and later with the Oerlikon GBA COA turret. It was equipped with various technological innovations such as outside lying fuel tanks, preheating and heating system, compartmentalized additional armor on the sides, which could be easily upgraded, splinter protection in the interior and s hydraulic rear ramp with integrated door and side protection. Due to financial shortages in the military budget, procurement should be begin with almost 10 years delay. MOWAG was not able to keep the production for the Trojans so long unused. The Schweizerisches Militärmuseum Full is the Swiss military museum, located in Full-Reuenthal, canton Aargau. Collection The museum displays military hardware and uniforms of Swiss and foreign armed forces, mainly from World War II and the Cold War. The museum displays mainly tanks, artillery, anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns of the Swiss Army and other armies from the 20th century in several former factory halls. A special feature is the complete factory collection of the former arms manufacturer Oerlikon-Bührle on the upper floor of the museum. This mainly comprises anti-aircraft and aircraft weapons. Finnish Defence Forces
The Finnish Defence Forces ( fi, Puolustusvoimat, sv, Försvarsmakten) are the military of Finland. The Finnish Defence Forces consist of the Finnish Army, the Finnish Navy and the Finnish Air Force. Oerlikon KBA
The Oerlikon KBA is a 25 mm (25×137mm) autocannon, developed as a close range multipurpose weapon for the mechanised battlefield, originally made by Oerlikon (now Rheinmetall AG) and currently produced in Rheinmetall Italia S.p.A. facilities. It is a positively locked breech, gas-operated cannon with a rotating bolt head and a dual-belt selective feed system taking a 25mm NATO cartridge. The rate of fire in burst mode is 600 rounds per minute but it can be adjusted electronically and reduced to single shot or a selectable range between 100 and 200 rounds per minute. The Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90; Sw. ''Stridsfordon'' 90, Strf90) is a family of Swedish tracked combat vehicles designed by Sweden's Defence Materiel Administration (''Försvarets Materielverk'', FMV), Hägglunds and Bofors during the mid-1980s to early 1990s, entering service in Sweden in the mid-1990s. The CV90 platform design has continuously evolved in steps from Mk0 to current MkIV with advances in technology and in response to changing battlefield requirements.
