International Sporting Code
The International Sporting Code (ISC) is a set of rules applicable to all four-wheel motorsport as governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It was first implemented in 1926. The ISC consists of 20 articles and several Addendum#Books, appendices. It contains definitions, general principles, and regulations, as well as rules for race organisers, contenders, racers, and officials. As motorsport is very hierarchy, hierarchic, the ISC may also be applicable in the rules of national racing federations. Some North American domestic racing, such as NASCAR and IndyCar are outside the FIA's jurisdiction and hence not governed by the ISC and they instead usually govern their own series themselves. Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally
Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally (or simply "Cholistan Jeep Rally" or also known as "TDCP Cholistan Jeep Rally") is a rally raid type of off-road race, organised by the TDCP in Pakistan. The event is annually run in the Cholistan Desert venue. It was first introduced in 2005 by Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP). The event is run by the Government of Punjab. The rally initiates near the Derawar Fort in Ahmadpur East Tehsil. Around 100 drivers and teams from all over Pakistan participate and almost 100,000 visitors witness it every year. Overview The purpose to hold this event in the heart of Cholistan desert is to show outside world its history and rich culture and open this area as a winter tourist destination. A1 Team Pakistan was the representative team of Pakistan in the former A1 Grand Prix motor racing series. History 2005–06 A1 Grand Prix season, 2005–06 season A1 Team Pakistan was launched in front of the Lahore Fort. Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf was a guest at the event, hosted by A1 Team Pakistan Chairman Arif Hussain and its managing director, Chaudry Salik Hussain. The team was to be run by Super Nova Racing. Nur Ali was the first driver to be named in A1GP, but was replaced before the first round with British-born driver Adam Khan.
