Motorcycle stunt riding is a motorsport which involves stunts known as wheelies, stoppies, acrobatics, burnout, drifting, and jumping. Motorcycles are sometimes modified to do multiple tricks (handbreak, subcage, crashcage, stopper, etc.). Stunters Stunters are a controversial subculture of motorcycling. ''Stunters'' perform motorcycle stunts on motor bikes, both on public roads and in private venues. Some stunters have organized commercial teams. History A wheelie on a motorized vehicle is a relatively common phenomenon. In drag racing they are considered a problem, robbing power that could be used to accelerate the vehicle faster, and many classes of drag racing use wheelie bars to prevent them. Kunmadaras Motorsport 2021
Kunmadaras is a large village in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Hungary. History The first written record of the existence of the village is from 1393. According to it the area was given to György Madaras, after whom the village was named, by Sigismund, Holy Roman Emperor, the Holy Roman Emperor, Sigismund, the king of Hungary. During the Ottoman Hungary, Ottoman occupation the village was destroyed. In the 18th and 19th centuries the population began to increase again, and new houses and buildings were constructed. The stoppie is a motorcycle and bicycle trick in which the back wheel is lifted by abruptly applying the front brake, then, by carefully reducing the brake pressure, the bike is ridden for a short distance on the front wheel. Evel Knievel
Robert Craig Knievel (October 17, 1938November 30, 2007), known professionally as Evel Knievel (), was an American stunt performer and entertainer. Eddie Kidd
Edward Kidd (born 22 June 1959) is an English former stunt performer. He was paralysed and suffered brain damage following an accident in 1996. On 15 June 2012 it was announced that he had been made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen's Birthday Honours List for services to charity. Stunt work Kidd started his career at the age of fourteen. He is the holder of many world records for jumping over cars and buses. Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team
The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team (RSMDT), also known as the White Helmets, was a group of serving soldiers from the Royal Corps of Signals of the British Army, who gave public displays of motorcycling skills, acrobatics and stunt riding. The team was based at the home of the Royal Signals at Blandford Camp in Dorset. The team was disbanded at the end of 2017. Talladega Speedway
Talladega Superspeedway (Alabama International Motor Speedway from 1969 to 1989) is a tri-oval superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama. Built in 1969, the track has hosted a variety of racing events, primarily races sanctioned by NASCAR. The track is owned by NASCAR and led by track president Brian Crichton. Doug Domokos
Doug Domokos (December 31, 1955 – November 26, 2000), nicknamed, "The Wheelie King," was an American stunt motorcyclist and former World Record holder for the World's Longest Wheelie. Early life Domokos was born in Niles, Michigan, on December 31, 1955. He began riding motorcycles at the age of 15 and was hooked instantly. Doug would ride motorcycles in his free time, mostly by abandoned railroad terminal grounds near his house. He soon became a talented motocross racer.
