Motorcycle Grand Prix Of The Americas
The Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas is a motorcycling event that is part of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing season that takes place at Circuit of the Americas. It became the third MotoGP round in the United States, alongside the Indianapolis motorcycle Grand Prix, Indianapolis Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (which lost its place on the calendar in 2015), and the United States motorcycle Grand Prix, United States Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (which lost its place on the calendar in 2014). The 2020 race was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19. Pedro Acosta Sánchez (born 25 May 2004) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing in MotoGP for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team. Acosta took his maiden win in only his second Moto3 race at the 2021 Doha motorcycle Grand Prix after starting from the pitlane as a penalty for a disciplinary infringement that originated in free practice. Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle and Scooter (motorcycle), scooter manufacturer in Noale, Italy, founded by Alberto Beggio. Jake Curtis Dixon (born 15 January 1996) is a British Grand Prix motorcycle racer competing for the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship.
