Morning (Rhodes EP)
''Morning'' is the second EP by English singer-songwriter Rhodes. It was first released in the United Kingdom on 11 May 2014, through his own label Rhodes Music. A year after being discovered by BBC Music Introducing, Rhodes featured at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow, where he featured the song "Your Soul" which subsequently was included on his debut studio album, Wishes in 2015. In production of the EP, he collaborated with producers James Kenosha and Tim Bran, who has also worked on his debut EP Raise Your Love in 2013. David Rhodes, stagename Rhodes (stylised RHODES, born 1988), is an English singer and songwriter from Baldock, Hertfordshire, England. He released his debut EP ''Raise Your Love'' on Hometown Records in October 2013 and released his second EP ''Morning'' on Rhodes Music on 12 May 2014. His debut album ''Wishes'' was released on 18 September 2015. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with a DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend
BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend (R1BW) (previously known as One Big Weekend, for 2012 as Radio 1's Hackney Weekend, and for 2018 as BBC Music's Biggest Weekend) is a British music festival run by BBC Radio 1. It is held once a year, in a different location within the United Kingdom each time. It was the biggest free-ticketed music event in Europe, until a fee for tickets was introduced in 2018, and always includes a host of new artists. Background and history The festival is a spin-off of Radio 1's "One Big Sunday", where in each Sunday during the summer months a different town would host the roadshow, usually next to a beach or in a large park.
