Morin-Heights () is a town in the Laurentian Mountains region of Quebec, Canada. It is west of Saint-Sauveur and north of Lachute; municipally, it is within the Regional County Municipality of Les Pays-d'en-Haut. It is primarily a tourist town known for its skiing. Morin Lake
Morin Lake is a small lake north-west of Prince Albert in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is a spring-fed, glacial lake situated in the Thickwood Hills and surrounded by boreal forests. From the north end of the lake, a short stream flows out and meets Big River. A regional park, the small community of Victoire, and Bay View Estates are located on Morin Lake's eastern shore and Big River 118 Indian reserve is to the north. Morinville is a town in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region of Alberta, Canada. It is approximately north of Edmonton along Alberta Highway 2, Highway 2. History Morinville was settled by Jean-Baptiste Morin, a priest and missionary of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate#Americas, Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, who brought many Franco-Albertans, French settlers in the late 1800s, followed by several German pioneers. The monument located in St. Jean Baptiste Park lists the many names of pioneers and settlers to Morinville.
