Montréal station is an under construction rail station on Line 1 in Ottawa, Ontario. It will be located in the median of Highway 174 at Montreal Road. It is being constructed as part of the Stage 2 O-Train The O-Train is a light rail system in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operated by OC Transpo. An island platform (also center platform (American English) or centre platform (British English)) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. OC Transpo
OC Transpo is the primary Transit district, public transport agency for the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operating bus rapid transit, light rail, conventional transit bus, bus routes, and door-to-door paratransit in the nation's capital region. Line 1 (O-Train)
Line 1 (), also known as the Confederation Line (), is a light rail line operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, part of the city's O-Train system. It opened on September 14, 2019, and is O-Train's second line. It operates on an east–west route, with a segment under Queen Street in the downtown core, complementing the north–south Line 2 (O-Train), Line 2 that operates to the west of the downtown core. Despite using light rail rolling stock and technology (e.g. pantograph electrical pickup from Overhead line, overhead catenary rather than a third rail), Line 1 is completely grade separated. Ottawa Road 174, formerly Ottawa-Carleton Regional Road 174 and commonly referred to as Highway 174, is a municipal expressway and numbered road in the City of Ottawa which serves the eastern suburbs of Orléans and Cumberland. The O-Train is a light rail system in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operated by OC Transpo. The O-Train system consists of three lines, all of which are fully Grade separation, grade-separated.
