Montenegro has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 13 times since its debut in . The Montenegrin participating broadcaster in the contest is Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG). Before its independence, the Socialist Republic of Montenegro participated in the contest as part of (both the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from to and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in ), and the Republic of Montenegro (1992–2006), Republic of Montenegro participated as part of (from to ). Entries selected by RTCG, formerly known as (RTT) during the era of Yugoslav participation, represented Yugoslavia in and and Serbia and Montenegro in . Željko Joksimović ( sr-Cyrl, Жељко Јоксимовић, ; born 20 April 1972) is a Serbian vocalist, composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He plays 12 different musical instruments including accordion, piano, guitar and drums. The song in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Background and composition The music for "Dobrodošli" was composed by and Darko Dimitrov, the latter in whom also produced, and the words were written by Subotić and Violeta Mihajlovska Milić. During an interview with the online newspaper Wiwibloggs, Žižić described the song as "how a woman can be strong at times of challenge". Neonoen, commonly stylized as NeonoeN, is a Montenegrin rock band formed in 2012 in Podgorica. They were initially selected to represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song "Clickbait", but later withdrew due to a controversy over having previously performed their song in June 2023. "Breathe" is a song by Montenegrin singer Vladana Vučinić. The song represented Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy after being internally selected by (RTCG), Montenegro's broadcaster for the Eurovision Song Contest. Vladana Vučinić (, ; born 18 July 1986), also known mononymously as Vladana, is a Montenegrin singer and songwriter. She represented Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song " Breathe". She worked as a creative director at Radio and Television of Montenegro. Life and career Vladana showed interest in music at an early age as her grandfather, Boris Nizamovski was the Head of the Association of Stage Artists of North Macedonia and manager of the Macedonian ensemble Magnifico. D mol were a Montenegrin vocal group that represented their country in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv. Montenegro was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "Heaven" written by Dejan Božović and Adis Eminić. The song was performed by the group D mol.
