Monsters Vs. Aliens (video Game)
''Monsters vs. Aliens'' is a 2009 video game based on the film with the same name. The game was released on March 24, 2009 on PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Microsoft Windows. The game, developed by Beenox on all platforms except the Nintendo DS which was developed by Amaze Entertainment, allows users to play through scenes from the movie as Ginormica, B.O.B., and The Missing Link, and features drop-in/out co-op. Actors who reprised their roles from the film include Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, and Rainn Wilson. Gameplay Players take control of Susan Murphy/Ginormica, Missing Link, B.O.B. and Dr. Cockroach Ph.D. in all platforms, as well as Insectosaurus on the Nintendo DS version of the game. Beenox Inc. is a Canadian video game developer established in 2000 in Quebec City. The studio became a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision on May 25, 2005. History Between 2003 and 2007, the developer was essentially a porting house. They completed approximately 30 projects for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh operating systems. James Dooley (composer)
James Michael "Jim" Dooley (born August 22, 1976) is an American film score composer. Biography Dooley was born in New York City and studied music at New York University, majoring in music composition. After finishing the university he moved to Los Angeles, where he studied music with prolific film score composers Christopher Young, Elmer Bernstein and Leonard Rosenman. In 1999, Dooley started working for Hans Zimmer as his chief technical assistant. He works in Santa Monica in Zimmer's film music studio Remote Control Productions (formerly ''Media Ventures''). Games for Windows is a former brand owned by Microsoft and introduced in 2006 to coincide with the release of the Windows Vista operating system. The brand itself represents a standardized technical certification program and online service for Windows games, bringing a measure of regulation to the PC game market in much the same way that console manufacturers regulate their platforms. The branding program was open to both first-party and third-party publishers. Games for Windows was promoted through convention kiosks and through other forums as early as 2005.
