Monocle 24
Monocle 24 is a mainly speech-based internet radio station, broadcasting from Monocle's headquarters at Midori House in London, England. On weekdays, the station produces three hours of live, current affairs-based programmes. It also broadcasts weekly shows on business; culture; design; food and hospitality; print media and urbanism. Music fills the rest of the schedule, hosted by Monocle staff. Monocle 24 was launched in October 2011 and broadcasts in English, primarily from London, but with an international focus. It is a brand extension of ''Monocle'', a magazine founded in 2007 by Canadian journalist and entrepreneur Tyler Brûlé. Around 80% of listening is via download, 20% via live streaming. In 2016, the station reported a weekly listenership of about 1 million. ''Monocle'' is a global affairs and lifestyle magazine, 24-hour radio station, website, retailer and media brand, produced by Winkreative Ltd. It was founded by Tyler Brûlé, a Canadian entrepreneur, ''Financial Times'' columnist, and founder of '' Wallpaper*'' magazine. The magazine was founded and based in London on 15 February 2007. In September 2014, Brûlé sold a minority stake in ''Monocle'' magazine to Japanese publisher Nikkei Inc. Jonathan Wheatley is a British Formula One mechanic and team manager. He is currently the sporting director at the Red Bull Racing Formula One team. Ted Kravitz (born Theodore Joseph Nathaniel Slotover; 21 March 1974) is a British Formula One pit-lane reporter who works for Sky Sports F1. Early career Kravitz was born in Hammersmith, London. His mother is American and is from Union City, New Jersey. While at university, he began presenting on University Radio Exeter. Upon graduation, he trained as a journalist at CBS News' London bureau before working for local radio stations in the South-West of England as a news and sports reporter. Clemency Burton-Hill
Clemency Margaret Greatrex Burton-Hill (born 1981) is an English broadcaster, author, novelist, journalist and violinist. In her early career she also worked as an actress. In January 2020 she suffered an AVM brain haemorrhage and underwent emergency surgery in New York City. She continues to work on her recovery. Nancy Durham is a Canadian journalist. Career Durham was born and educated in Canada at the University of Western Ontario and York University. Tomasz Schafernaker (born 8 January 1979) is a Polish-British meteorologist who currently works for BBC Weather. Early life Tomasz Schafernaker was born on 8 January 1979 in Gdańsk, Poland, and attended school both in his native Poland and in Britain.
