Moeto Carstvo
''Moeto carstvo'' ( mk, Моето царство , "My Kingdom") is the second and final album by Macedonian rock group Aleksandar Makedonski. It was released in 1996. Unlike their previous album, '' Za heroje i princeze'', which was a Serbo-Croatian-language pop-rock album, ''Moeto carstvo'' is a Macedonian-language alternative rock album. This album can also be considered a Badmingtons album due to all three Badmingtons members appearing, with the addition of a rhythm guitarist and a bassist. Aleksandar Makedonski
Aleksandar Makedonski ( Macedonian language: Александар Македонски, meaning in English: Alexander of Macedonia) was a Macedonian and former Yugoslav rock band. Biography Aleksandar Makedonski was formed in 1986 in Skopje, then in socialist Yugoslavia as an offshoot of the prominent punk rock group Badmingtons, and it included the frontman Vladimir Petrovski - Karter (guitar, vocals), Dejan Škartov-Deko ( keyboards), Zoran Janković - Bajo (bass guitar), Vladimir Dimovski (drums) and the female singer Melita Stefanovska (backing vocals). Unlike Badmingtons, who were a punk band, Aleksandar Makedonski was initially a more pop-rock oriented act. Alternative Rock
Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Macedonian Language
Macedonian (; , , ) is an Eastern South Slavic language. It is part of the Indo-European language family, and is one of the Slavic languages, which are part of a larger Balto-Slavic branch. Spoken as a first language by around two million people, it serves as the official language of North Macedonia. Most speakers can be found in the country and its diaspora, with a smaller number of speakers throughout the transnational region of Macedonia. Badmingtons
Badmingtons (in Macedonian: Бадмингтонс) were a prominent Macedonian punk rock band. Biography Badmingtons were formed in 1983 in Skopje, then SR Macedonia (now the Republic of Macedonia) by Vladimir Petrovski - Karter (guitar and vocals), Dean Škartov - Deko ( keyboards) and Boris Georgiev - But (drums). Previously, Karter had played in one of the line-ups of Fol Jazik (the first punk band in Skopje, formed 1978) and later in Saraceni, another legendary punk group, which also featured the now-internationally acclaimed musician Goran Trajkoski. Boris Georgiev was a former drummer in Jadro, which included members from several countries, as well as in the bands Pop and Dizajn. Vladimir Petrovski - Karter
Vladimir Petrovski ( mk, Владимир Петровски' ; born ), better known by his nickname "Karter", is a Macedonian musician and founder of the bands Saraceni, Badmingtons, Aleksandar Makedonski and Opstrukcija. Early history Petrovski started playing guitar in Fol Jazik, Macedonia's first punk band. In 1978 he began to learn about sound engineering. In 1981, he founded the punk band Saraceni. Their best known song, "Ne brini" (Don't Worry) was released on Makedonski Dokument 2. In 1983, he started up Badmingtons with Dejan Shkartov and Boris Georgiev. In 1986, to follow the then recent trend of punk bands becoming pop bands, Badmingtons fired Georgiev, recruited the female vocalist Melita Stefanovska, the drummer Vladimir Dimovski and the bassist Zoran Jankovic. Goran Trajkovski
Goran Trajkoski ( mk, Горан Трајкоски) (born 21 November 1963) is a Macedonian musician. He rose to international prominence as a frontman of the group Anastasija which was featured on the soundtrack album for the Academy Award-nominated movie '' Before the Rain'' directed by Milčo Mančevski. He started his musical career as a member of the punk rock band Afektiven naboj from Struga. After moving to Skopje he joined the punk band Saraceni led by Vladimir Petrovski Karter. Later he was a vocalist of the influential 1980s group Padot na Vizantija. He played bass guitar in the Macedonian cult band Mizar from 1986 until 1987. After the reunion of Mizar in the 2000s, Goran Trajkovski became its new frontman. He is also involved in solo projects, for instance as an author of electronic music under the pseudonym ''Gotra'' (Готра) as well as a composer for film soundtracks and theatre music.
