Mithila Rajya Sangharsh Samiti
Mithila Rajya Sangharsh Samiti (Maithili language, Maithili: मिथिला राज्य संघर्ष समिति) is a social organisation in India which advocates the Mithila State Movement, demand of separate Mithila state for Maithils in the present state of Bihar. It organises several protests in the favour of creation of Mithila (proposed Indian state), separate Mithila state in India. It had been continuously staging a strike for a separate Mithila state on the first day of every session of the Indian parliament for the previous several years at the premises of the Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, Jantar Mantar in the national capital New Delhi of India. Jayakant Mishra
Jayakant Mishra (20 November 1922 – 3 February 2009) was an Indian scholar and author. He was a professor of English at Allahabad University, and an advocate for the Maithili language, where he writ, petitioned the Government of Bihar to make its language instruction available for primary schools in the area. He worked tirelessly for the statehood of Mithila in India carving out from Bihar and Jharkhand from 1994 till his death. Early life Mishra was born on 20 November 1922, in Varanasi.Mishra's birth month as stated as November by daughter Lila, although his friend Dhanakar Thakur has mentioned December. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are Centrally Funded Business Schools for management offering undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and executive programmes along with some additional courses in the field of business administration. The establishment of IIMs was initiated by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India, based on the recommendation of the Planning Commission of India. Darbhanga is the fifth largest city and municipal corporation in the state of Bihar in India, and is considered an important city in North Bihar. Mithila (region)
Mithila (), also known as Tirhut, Tirabhukti and Mithilanchal, is a geographical and cultural region of the Indian subcontinent bounded by the Mahananda River in the east, the Ganges in the south, the Gandaki River in the west and by the foothills of the Himalayas in the north. Amarnath Jha
Amaranath Jha (25 February 1897 – 2 September 1955) was the Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University of Allahabad and the Banaras Hindu University.
