Mirpur Model Thana
Mirpur () is a thana of Dhaka city, Bangladesh. It is bounded by Pallabi Thana to the north, Mohammadpur Thana to the south, Kafrul to the east, and Savar Upazila to the west. For administrative convenience three new thanas, namely Shah Ali, Pallabi Thana and Kafrul Thana have been carved out of old Mirpur Thana. History Mirpur Thana was established in 1962. The thana consists of one ''union parishad'', eight wards, 11 mouzas and 86 and 20 villages. Mirpur Thana (town) area was included in Keraniganj Thana during the British period (1757–1947) and in Tejgaon Thana during the Pakistan period (1947–1971). Mirpur Sakro
Mirpur Sakro (,) is a town located 33 km away from Thatta District, in Sindh, Pakistan. The town is 85 km away from Karachi. Mirpur Sakro is at an altitude of 35 meters. It is a small area having a population of around 17,500 settled in a scattered form. The native language spoken here is Sindhi. The most prominent aspects of this village is its connectivity to 88-km-long Gharo-Keti Bunder highway and the Sakro Qabrustan (graveyard) which is around 2 km wide located in the middle of the village. Mirpur Mathelo ( Sindhi:) is a city in Ghotki District, Sindh province, Pakistan. The city is administratively subdivided into ten union councils. It is the 97th largest city in Pakistan. Mirpur DOHS is a Neighbourhood of Dhaka North, situated in Mirpur Thana of Dhaka City. The area is under the jurisdiction of Pallabi Thana Police Station. The administration of the area is under the Cantonment Board, Dhaka. The Neighbourhood is located close to Mirpur Cantonment. The Postal Code for Mirpur DOHS is 1216.
