Miroslav Karhan
Miroslav Karhan (born 21 June 1976) is a Slovak football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Karhan started and finished his career at Spartak Trnava; in between, he played in Spain, Turkey and Germany, where he spent ten seasons. Karhan was a regular member of the Slovakia national team and with 107 appearances, played the second most matches of any player to represent them. Club career Karhan began his career with local club Spartak Trnava. In 1999 he signed a four-year contract with La Liga club Real Betis, becoming the third Slovak player to join a Spanish league club in the 1990s after Peter Dubovský and Samuel Slovák. After a season he moved to Turkish side Beşiktaş, before joining German side VfL Wolfsburg in 2001. In 2002 he was named Slovak Footballer of the Year. Karhan joined Mainz 05 of the 2. Hlohovec
Hlohovec (german: Freistad(l) an der Waag, Hungarian ''Galgóc''), is a town in southwestern Slovakia, with a population of 21,508. Dubnica nad Váhom (; Slovak before 1927: ''Dubnica'', german: Dubnitz an der Waag, hu, Máriatölgyes, before 1899 ''Dubnic(z)'') is a town in the Ilava District, Trenčín Region in Slovakia. Patrick Karhan (born 19 June 2003) is a Slovak footballer who plays for Spartak Trnava as a midfielder. Club career Spartak Trnava Karhan made his Fortuna Liga debut for Spartak Trnava in a home fixture at Štadión Antona Malatinského on 2 May 2021 in a traditional derby against Slovan Bratislava. He came on in the 86th minute to replace Martin Bukata with the score set at 3-0, following a two penaltiy goals by Milan Ristovski and a second-half strike by Bamidele Yusuf. Less than two minutes into his debut, Karhan was involved in an in-play incident with Bulgarian international Vasil Bozhikov during an attempt to header the ball.
