The Ministry of Tourism and Sports () is the ministry in the Government of Croatia which in charge of the development of tourism. Zagreb
Zagreb ( ) is the capital (political), capital and List of cities and towns in Croatia#List of cities and towns, largest city of Croatia. It is in the Northern Croatia, north of the country, along the Sava river, at the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain. The Ninth Government of the Republic of Croatia () was the first of two Croatian Government cabinets led by Prime Minister Ivo Sanader. It was announced on 23 December 2003 and its term ended on 12 January 2008. Nikolina Brnjac
Nikolina Brnjac (born 11 July 1978) is a Croatian politician of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) who has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament for Croatia since 2024. She served as Minister of Tourism and Sports from 2020 to 2024 in the Plenković II Cabinet. Early life and education Brnjac was born in Karlovac. She graduated at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb and earned the title of Doctor of Science in Transport and Traffic Technology in 2009. From 2002 to 2010, she worked as an assistant lecturer at the Faculty, until she became head of the Intermodal Transport Department, from 2010 to 2017. Gari Cappelli
Gari Cappelli () (born 16 May 1961) is a Croatian politician who had served as the Minister of Tourism in the Cabinet of Andrej Plenković from 2016 to 2020. He also served as mayor of Mali Lošinj between 2005 and 2016. Early life Cappelli was born on 16 May 1961 in Mali Lošinj in a family with origins from Padua, Italy. Political career Cappelli joined HDZ in 1992 and soon became the head of Mali Lošinj's HDZ town committee and started work in the county party committee. In 1999, due to his perfect knowledge of the Italian language, he was posted at the Croatian Consulate General in the Italian city of Trieste, where he was in charge of economic co-operation. The Thirteenth Government of the Republic of Croatia () was the Croatian Government cabinet led by Prime Minister Tihomir Orešković. It was the government cabinet of Croatia between 22 January until 19 October 2016. It was formed following the 2015 election. The negotiation process leading to its formation was the longest in Croatian history, totaling at a record 76 days. The Istrian Democratic Assembly (, or IDS-DDI) is a centre to centre-left, regionalist, liberal political party in Croatia primarily operating in Istria County.
