The Government Seal of Bangladesh ( bn, বাংলাদেশ সরকারের সীল ''Bangladesh Sarkarer Sil'') is used by the Cabinet of Bangladesh and the Government of Bangladesh on official documents. One version is used on the cover page of Bangladeshi passports. The seal features the same design elements as the first flag of Bangladesh in a circular setting. Sheikh Hasina Wazed
Sheikh Hasina Wazed (''née'' Sheikh Hasina ; ; bn, শেখ হাসিনা ওয়াজেদ, Shēkh Hasinā, , born 28 September 1947) is a Bangladeshi politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh since January 2009. Hasina is the daughter of the founding father and first President of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. She previously served as prime minister from June 1996 to July 2001. She is the longest serving prime minister in the history of Bangladesh, having served for a combined total of over 18 years. Farhad Hossain (politician)
Farhad Hossain (born 5 June 1972) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent State Minister of Public Administration and Jatiya Sangsad member from Meherpur-1 constituency. Background and early life Hossain was born on 5 June 1972 in Meherpur District. He completed his master's degree in English . His father, Saheehuddin Biswas, was named MNA (Member of the National Assembly) in 1970. In addition, he was elected MP of parliamentary constituency 73 Meherpur-1 in 1973 and 1986. In 1975 he was elected as the District Governor of Bakshal. He was one of the founders of greater Kushtia District Awami League. Career Hossain is the president of Meherpur District unit of Awami League. He was a lecturer at the Dhaka City College. Hossain was elected parliament member in 2014 from Meherpur-1 (Meherpur-Mujibnagar) as a candidate of the Awami League. He received 80,146 votes while independent candidate Md. K M Ali Azam is the senior secretary of Ministry of Public Administration. He is the former secretary of Ministry of Industries and a director of British American Tobacco Bangladesh. Early life Azam was born in 1953 in Udaipur village, Mollahat Upazila, Bagerhat District, East Pakistan, Pakistan. He completed his master's degree in economics from the University of Rajshahi. Career Azam joined Bangladesh Civil Service on 20 December 1989 as part of the administration cadre. Azam had served as the assistant commissioner in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong District. He was the assistant commissioner of Land in Meherpur Sadar Upazila.
