Mehmet Fatih Kacır (born 16 October 1984) is a Turkish politician and entrepreneur. He developed utility models and industrial designs at companies where he was the founder and manager. He is one of the founders of Türkiye Technology Team Foundation. He has been serving as the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology since July 31, 2018. On 3 June 2023, he took part in the new cabinet announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and became the new Minister of Industry and Technology. Aruj Barbarossa ( 1474 – 1518), known as Oruç Reis () to the Turks, was an Ottoman corsair who became Sultan of Algiers. The elder brother of the famous Ottoman admiral Hayreddin Barbarossa, he was born on the Ottoman island of Midilli (Lesbos in present-day Greece) and died in battle against the Spanish at Tlemcen.
