Hassan Taqizadeh
Sayyed Hasan Taqizādeh (; September 27, 1878 in Tabriz, Iran – January 28, 1970 in Tehran, Iran) was an influential Iranian politician and diplomat, of Azerbaijani origin, during the Qajar era under the reign of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar, as well as the Pahlavi era under the reign of Reza Shah and Mohammad Reza Shah. Taqizadeh was also a prominent scholar; his studies on Iranian calendars remain reference work up until now. Although in the modern political history Taqizadeh is known as a secular politician, who believed that "outwardly and inwardly, in body and in spirit, Iran must become Europeanized", he came from a traditional Islamic Sayyed-family (descendant of Muhammad). Mohammad Ali Varasteh
Mohammad Ali Varasteh (1896–1989) was an Iranian statesman who held several cabinet posts in the 1950s and also, served as the governor of Isfahan province. He was the head of the regency council which was formed soon after the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi left Iran in January 1979. Biography Varasteh was born in 1896. He served as the minister of health in the cabinet led by Prime Minister Ali Mansur between 4 April and June 1950. Varasteh replaced Amir Alam in the post, and his successor as health minister was Jahanshah Saleh. In March 1951 Varasteh was named as the minister of finance in the cabinet led by Hossein Ala'. However, his tenure ended on 27 April when the cabinet resigned. On 2 May Varasteh was appointed to the same post in the next cabinet led by Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh. Abdolhossein Behnia
Abdolhossein Behnia (Persian: عبدالحسین بهنیا), also Latinized as Abdul Husain Behnia, was an Iranian politician who served as minister of finance several times during the reign of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. He served in the cabinet of Prime Minister Ali Amini and then of Asadollah Alam in the early 1960s. Behnia was appointed minister of finance to the cabinet of Ali Amini on 9 May 1961. He resigned from office on 9 January 1962 due to the approval of a land reform bill by the cabinet. Behnia argued that the bill was not required. Behnia was appointed minister of finance to the cabinet formed by Asadollah Alam on 21 July 1962. He was appointed to the same post in the second cabinet of Alam on 19 February 1963. Abolghassem Nadjm (Najm ol-Molk) (), ''Abolqāsem Najm''/''Abolqassem Najm'' (11 May 1892 – October 19, 1983) was an Iranian peoples, Iranian Politics of Iran, politician, cabinet minister (diplomacy), minister, and diplomat. Early life and education His father was Mirza Mahmoud Shirazi, a merchant, who died when Abolqasem was an infant. His mother was the daughter of Iran's first modern physicist and astronomer, Mirza Abdulqaffar Nadjm ol-Molk. Abdulqaffar, who taught mathematics and physics at Dar ul-Funun (Persia), Dar ul-Funun, took Abolqasem under his custody after Abolqasem was orphaned. Morteza Gholi Bayat (; Mortezā Qoli Bayāt, aka ''Sahām al-Soltān'', 1890–10 May 1958) was a Prime Minister of Iran. Career Born in Arak, Iran into a family of Iran's ancient tribal nobility, Chieftains of the Bayat tribe, to Haj Abbas Qoli-Khan Saham al-Molk Araki, he first founded the ''Democratic party of Arak''.
