Minister For Regional Transport And Roads
The Minister for Regional Transport is a minister in the Government of New South Wales who has responsibilities for the development of road infrastructure and road pricing, and taxi and hire car policy and regulation in the regional parts of the state. Jenny Aitchison
Jennifer Kathleen Aitchison is an Australian politician who has served as Minister for Roads (New South Wales), Minister for Roads and Minister for Regional Transport in the Minns ministry since 2025. She previously served as Minister for Regional Transport and Roads from 2023 to 2025. She is a member of the New South Wales Labor Party, Labor Party. She has served in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly as the member for Electoral district of Maitland, Maitland since the 2015 New South Wales state election. Regional Minister (New South Wales)
In New South Wales, regional ministers have been appointed since 1995 on a part-time basis as part of the Government of New South Wales. Each minister has other departmental responsibilities, as well as specific responsibilities for one of the regions of New South Wales. The ministries with regional responsibilities first appeared in 2000 during the Carr Labor Government with a position looking after the Central Coast, this would later be expanded by the Iemma Labor Government from 2005 and O'Farrell Coalition Government in 2011 to five different positions including Western Sydney. Sam Farraway
Samuel Jacob Farraway (born 1986) is an Australian politician who served in the New South Wales Legislative Council from October 2019 to December 2024 and as the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads in the second Perrottet ministry between December 2021 and March 2023. The First Perrottet ministry or First Perrottet–Toole ministry was the 98th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Dominic Perrottet, the state's 46th Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed following the resignation of the previous Premier, Gladys Berejiklian and the election of Perrottet as leader of the Liberal Party on 5 October 2021. Stuart Ayres was elected as deputy party leader. Separate to the Liberal Party leadership election, the National Party also had its own leadership election on 6 October 2021, following the resignation of John Barilaro as party leader, who said it was "the right time for me to hand the reins over". Berejiklian Ministry (2019–2021)
The Second Berejiklian ministry was the 97th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Gladys Berejiklian, the state's 45th Premier. It was the second and subsequent of two occasions that Berejiklian served as Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed following the 2019 state election where the Berejikilian government was re-elected. Ryan Park (politician)
Ryan John Park (born 1977) is an Australian politician. He has been a Labor Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since March 2011, representing the electorate of Keira. He is the current Minister for Health. He previously served as the NSW Shadow Minister for Health since 2019, and the Shadow Minister for the Illawarra since 2013. Tara Elizabeth Moriarty is an Australian politician. She has been a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since 2019, representing the New South Wales Labor Party, Australian Labor Party.
