The Minister for Energy, Business and Industry, (), formally cabinet minister and head of the Ministry of Climate and Enterprise, is a member and minister of the Government of Sweden and is appointed by the Prime Minister. The minister is responsible for policies related to enterprise, industry and innovation. The current minister is Ebba Busch of the Christians Democrats. History Until 1991, the office was named minister of industry (''industriminister''). Thorbjörn Fälldin
Nils Olof Thorbjörn Fälldin (24 April 1926 – 23 July 2016) was a Swedish politician and farmer who served as the prime minister of Sweden from 1976 to 1978 and again from 1979 to 1982, heading three non-consecutive cabinets. He was the leader of the Swedish Centre Party from 1971 to 1985. On his first appointment in 1976, he was the first non- Social Democrat Prime Minister for 40 years and the first since the 1930s not to have worked as a professional politician since his teens. Mona Sahlin
Mona Ingeborg Sahlin (; ; born 9 March 1957) is a Swedes, Swedish politician who was leader of the opposition and leader of the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 2007 to 2011. Sahlin was a Parliament of Sweden, Member of Parliament, representing Stockholm County, from 1982 to 1996 and again from 2002 to 2011. She has also held minister (government), ministerial posts in the Government of Sweden, Swedish government from 1990 to 1991, from 1994 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2006. Björn Rosengren (politician)
Björn Folke Rosengren (born 14 April 1942) is a Swedish politician and advisor to the Stenbeck family. Life and career Rosengren was born in Täby. He was active in the labour union and as a Social Democratic politician. He served as chairman of the Swedish Municipal Employee Union ("Vision", formerly SKTF) from 1976 to 1982, and on the Federation of Public Employee Unions TCO 1982–1994. He served as county governor in the Norrbotten County from 1995 to 1998, as minister of enterprise from 1998 to 2002, and as a member of the parliament in 2002. Hans Göran Persson (; born 20 January 1949) is a Swedish politician who served as Prime Minister of Sweden from 1996 to 2006 and leader of the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 1996 to 2007. Anders Sundström (born 26 July 1952) is a Swedish banker, businessman and former politician of the Swedish Social Democratic Party. Biography Sundström studied human geography and economics at Umeå University from 1972 to 1975, and became mayor of Piteå Municipality in 1980, at the age 27, the youngest at the time. Sten Heckscher
Sten Heckscher (born 29 July 1942) is a Swedish lawyer and Social Democratic politician. He graduated with a degree in law from Uppsala University. Even though his father was leader of what later became the Moderate Party, Heckscher himself engaged in Social Democratic politics. He served in numerous public positions in and out of government until Prime Minister Ingvar Carlsson appointed him Minister of Industry and Employment on the eve of the Social Democrats' election victory in 1994. In 1996, he resigned to become National Police Commissioner. Heckscher served until 2005 when he was appointed chief judge of the Administrative Court of Appeal in Stockholm.
