The Minister for Energy () is a cabinet minister within the Government of Sweden and appointed by the Prime Minister of Sweden. The minister is responsible for issues regarding energy, the energy market and the development of renewable energy. Khashayar Carl Farmanbar (born 21 September 1976) is a Swedish entrepreneur and politician for the Social Democratic Party. From 30 November 2021 until 18 October 2022, he was Minister for Energy and Minister for Digital Development in Magdalena Andersson's Cabinet, replacing Anders Ygeman. Anders Ingvar Ygeman (; born 17 June 1970) is a Swedish politician of the Social Democrats. He has served as Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy, Minister for Integration and Minister for Sports between November 2021 and October 2022 He previously served in the Swedish Government as Minister for Energy and Minister for Digital Development from 2019 to 2021 and as Minister for Home Affairs from 2014 to 2017. He has been a member of the Riksdag since 1996 (as a standby since 1995). Biography Ygeman grew up in Hagsätra and lived in Årsta, Stockholm. He is the son of journalist Ingvar Ygeman. Ibrahim Baylan (born 15 March 1972) is a Swedish politician who served as minister for schools from 2004 to 2006, as minister for energy from 2014 to 2019, minister for government coordination from 2016 to 2019 and as minister for business, industry and innovation from 2019 to 2021.
