Minister For Disability Inclusion
The Minister for Disability Inclusion is a minister of the Government of New South Wales with responsibility for social policy and welfare, including matters relating disability in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The Minister since 5 April 2023 is Kate Washington who also holds the Families and Communities portfolio. Collectively the ministers administer the portfolio through the Department of Communities and Justice and a range of other government agencies. Kate Washington
Kate Rebecca Washington (born 1970) is an Australian politician who has served as Minister for Disability Inclusion and Minister for Families and Communities, Families and Communities in the Minns ministry, Minns Government of New South Wales since 2023. She was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly as the member for Electoral district of Port Stephens, Port Stephens for the New South Wales Labor Party at the 2015 New South Wales state election. Before entering parliament, Washington worked as a health lawyer. She has three children and lives in Lemon Tree Passage, New South Wales, Lemon Tree Passage. Rees Ministry
The Rees ministry was the 91st ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by the 41st Premier Nathan Rees. The Rees Labor ministry was formed following the resignation of Premier Morris Iemma on 5 September 2008 and the unanimous election of Rees as Leader of the Labor caucus and Carmel Tebbutt as Deputy Leader. The Second Perrottet ministry or Second Perrottet–Toole ministry was the 99th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Dominic Perrottet, the state's 46th Premier of New South Wales, Premier. Natasha Maclaren-Jones
Natasha Marianne Maclaren-Jones (born 11 March 1976) is an Australian politician, and is a Liberal Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since March 2011. Maclaren-Jones has served as the Minister for Families and Communities and the Minister for Disability Services from December 2021 until March 2023. Career Before Parliament, Maclaren-Jones was a senior advisor to Helen Coonan and Bronwyn Bishop and was the state Liberal Party President that presided over the largest Coalition win in NSW political history in the 2011 state election. Maclaren-Jones was nominated as the Liberal candidate for the President of the New South Wales Legislative Council in March 2021 after the resignation of John Ajaka. The First Perrottet ministry or First Perrottet–Toole ministry was the 98th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Dominic Perrottet, the state's 46th Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed following the resignation of the previous Premier, Gladys Berejiklian and the election of Perrottet as leader of the Liberal Party on 5 October 2021. Stuart Ayres was elected as deputy party leader. Separate to the Liberal Party leadership election, the National Party also had its own leadership election on 6 October 2021, following the resignation of John Barilaro as party leader, who said it was "the right time for me to hand the reins over". The Second Berejiklian ministry was the 97th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Gladys Berejiklian, the state's 45th Premier. It was the second and subsequent of two occasions that Berejiklian served as Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed following the 2019 state election where the Berejikilian government was re-elected. The First Berejiklian ministry was the 96th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Gladys Berejiklian, the state's 45th Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed on 23 January 2017, immediately following the resignation of the previous Premier, Mike Baird. The Second Baird ministry was the 95th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Mike Baird, the state's 44th Premier. It is the second and subsequent of two occasions when Baird served as Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed following the 2015 state election where the Baird government was re-elected.
