Mike Ross (radio Host)
Mike Ross (born September 8, 1973) is a Canadian announcer, broadcaster and actor. He is currently the PA announcer for Toronto Maple Leafs and also reader for "The Globe & Mail Today" on AMI-audio. He graduated from the École secondaire publique De La Salle in Ottawa and went on to study at Carleton University and volunteered at CKCU, Carleton's campus radio station, where he first did sports on the radio. Soon after, he began working in the promotions department at Rawlco's Energy 1200 and Majic 100 in Ottawa. In 1998, 1200 AM went all sports and Ross became the morning show producer and co-host on OSR 1200. In 1999, when CHUM Limited bought Rawlco's Ottawa stations, he was moved to the afternoon drive show with Duke and the Dandyman. The 2015 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships was the 39th edition of Ice Hockey World Junior Championship, played from December 26, 2014 to January 5, 2015. Ottawa 67's
The Ottawa 67's are a major junior ice hockey team based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, that plays in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Established during Canada's centennial year of 1967 and named in honour of this, the 67's currently play their home games at TD Place Arena. The 67's are three-time OHL champions, and have played in the Memorial Cup five times, winning in 1984 and as host team in 1999. Ottawa Lynx
The Ottawa Lynx were a Minor League Baseball team that competed in the Triple-A International League (IL) from 1993 to 2007. The team's home field was Lynx Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario. Over 15 seasons, the team was an affiliate of the Montreal Expos (1993–2002), Baltimore Orioles (2003–2006), and Philadelphia Phillies (2007). At the time, it was the only IL franchise in Canada. Gord Stellick
Gord Stellick (born May 26, 1957 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian sports broadcaster and former NHL executive. Stellick formerly hosted The Fan 590 Morning Show with Don Landry, and also appears on Hockey Central on Rogers Sportsnet. Currently, Stellick serves as host of the pre-game edition of "Blue And White Tonight" between 6PM-7PM on The Fan 590 during the game nights that the Toronto Maple Leafs play as well as the post-game edition of the show. Phil Esposito
Philip Anthony Esposito ( , ; born February 20, 1942) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player, coach and executive, and current broadcaster for the Tampa Bay Lightning. A member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, he played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Black Hawks, Boston Bruins, and New York Rangers, winning two Stanley Cups with Boston. He is considered one of the greatest players of all time, and is the older brother of fellow Hall-of-Famer Tony Esposito, a goaltender.
