Michael Moschello Anderson (born September 21, 1973) is a former American football running back who played seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Utah and was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played five seasons with the Broncos, being named the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2000. After being waived by the Broncos in 2006, Anderson signed a four-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens; however, he played just two seasons with the Ravens before his contract was terminated in 2008, effectively ending his NFL career. Prior to his football career, Anderson served four years in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting out of high school. He was assigned to the artillery battery of the 11th Marine Regiment and deployed overseas to Somalia and Kenya on peacekeeping missions. Michael Howard Anderson (born February 6, 1949) is a former American football player. Playing career Anderson graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1967 and then attended Louisiana State University in the same city. He played college football for the LSU Tigers from 1967 to 1970 and was a consensus All-American linebacker in 1970. Post-playing career Anderson later operated restaurants in Baton Rouge and New Orleans called Mike Anderson's Seafood. In 2014, he sued the NCAA and Riddell Inc., a helmet manufacturer, seeking compensation for head injuries he sustained while playing college football. He came to St. John's after previously serving as head coach at UAB, Missouri and Arkansas. He also served as an assistant/associate head coach under Nolan Richardson at Arkansas for 17 years. Michael James Anderson (born July 30, 1966) is a former Major League Baseball player who pitched for the Cincinnati Reds in . He made his major league debut on September 7 against the St. Louis Cardinals. He pitched 1 of an inning, allowed 6 hits, 7 earned runs, and gave up 2 of 4 home runs in a single game hit by Mark Whiten. He only appeared in two more games after that. On December 10, 1993, he was traded with Darron Cox and Larry Luebbers to the Chicago Cubs for Chuck McElroy but he never made it to the majors with the Cubs. Cornealious Michael "Mike" Anderson III (born ) is an American who was convicted of armed robbery in 2000 and sentenced to thirteen years in the Missouri state prison system. Due to a clerical error, his bond was not revoked when a warrant was issued for his arrest, and Anderson was not arrested because the Missouri Department of Corrections thought he was already in prison. The error was only discovered when he was scheduled to be released from prison in 2013 and he was arrested and required to serve his sentence.
