Midget Professional Wrestler
Midget wrestling is professional wrestling involving people of exceptionally short stature. Its heyday was in the 1950s and 1960s, when wrestlers such as Lionel Giroux, Little Beaver, Eric Tovey, Lord Littlebrook, toured North America, and Sky Low Low was the first holder of the National Wrestling Alliance's NWA World Midget Championship, World Midget Championship. In the following couple of decades, more wrestlers became prominent in North America, including foreign wrestlers like Japan's Little Tokyo (wrestler), Little Tokyo. The attraction was very popular in wrestling promotions from the 1950s into the 1970s. Many cards included midget wrestlers and included tag team and women's midget wrestling. Television shows for promotions in various cities frequently included midget matches. Midget wrestling began to wane after World Wrestling Entertainment, WWF's WrestleMania III. (Spanish, 'Little Sacred Mask', real name not known, born January 11, 1965) is a Mexican Mini Luchador enmascarado (Spanish, 'Mini Masked wrestler') and one of the most well-known Mexican Minis of the modern era. He is the original Mascarita Sagrada although there have been several wrestlers who have used the same gimmick through the years. In Mexico, Mascarita Sagrada has worked for AAA, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and a long list of independent promoters over the years. Farouk I (; ''Fārūq al-Awwal''; 11 February 1920 – 18 March 1965) was the tenth ruler of Egypt from the Muhammad Ali dynasty and the penultimate King of Egypt and the Sudan, succeeding his father, Fuad I, in 1936 and reigning until his overthrow in a military coup in 1952. Stampede Wrestling
Stampede Wrestling was a Canadian professional wrestling promotion based in Calgary, Alberta. For nearly 50 years, it was one of the main promotions in western Canada and the Canadian Prairies. Originally established by Stu Hart in 1948, the promotion competed with other promotions such as NWA All-Star Wrestling and Pacific Northwest Wrestling and regularly ran events in Calgary's Victoria Pavilion, Ogden Auditorium and the Stampede Corral between 1948 until 1984 when bought out by promoter Vince McMahon, the company was briefly run by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) before being sold back to the Hart family the following year. Leon Stap (sometimes spelled Leon Stop) (September 24, 1928 – April 26, 1979) was an American midget professional wrestler better known by his ring name Fuzzy Cupid. During his career, he was the frequent tag team partner of fellow midget wrestler Sky Low Low. Professional wrestling career Stap first saw a midget professional wrestling match in Texas, and he decided to try the sport. He later went to Detroit to train at the advice of promoter Norman Brown. Clifford Fraser (October 10, 1957 – November 20, 2022) was a Canadian professional wrestler, known as the midget wrestler Farmer Brooks. He was a major participant in Grand Prix Wrestling throughout the 1980s and a longtime rival of Sky Low Low. Professional wrestling career Clifford Fraser moved to Rexdale in Toronto when he was growing up.
