Micro (Thai Band)
Micro (ไมโคร) were a Thai rock band formed in 1983 in Bangkok, Thailand. They signed to the GMM Grammy. The group has released a six studio albums. The lead vocals for their first three albums was Amphol Lumpoon. And when Amphol Lumpoon left the band for solo career, Kraiphop Jandee became the band's lead vocals for the latter three albums. The band reunited in 2010s for concerts. Pop Rock
Pop rock (also typeset as pop/rock) is a fusion genre with an emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft, and less emphasis on attitude than rock music. Amphol Lumpoon
Amphol Lumpoon ( th, อำพล ลำพูน; born July 20, 1963) is a Thai actor. He is also the lead singer in the Thai rock band, Micro, but then split up for his solo career. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s. Amphol was married to singer-actress Marsha Wattanapanich. They divorced in 1997. They have one child together. Music career Amphol's songs (solo, and with Micro) include "Jai Sohm Sohm" ("Broken Heart"), "Ow Pai Loey" ("Take It"), "Bauk Mah Kum Diow" ("Tell Me One Thing") and "Sia Mai" ("Broken"). Thai rock is rock music from Thailand. Thai rock was influenced by rock bands from the United States and United Kingdom. Emerging in the 1980s it flourished with bands like Asanee-Wasan and Micro. It became widely popular in the 1990s. 1970s Rock music emerged from the United States from a Blues rock base, gaining international popularity in the 1960s with bands like The Doors and musician Jimi Hendrix.
