Michel Preud'homme
Michel Georges Jean Ghislain Preud'homme (born 24 January 1959) is a Belgian retired association football, footballer and Manager (association football), manager who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Currently, he is vice-president and sports director at Standard Liège. He was considered one of the world's best and most consistent goalkeepers during his professional career; he was the first winner of the Yashin Award as the best goalkeeper at the 1994 FIFA World Cup. At club level, Preud'homme played for Standard Liège, KV Mechelen, Mechelen and S.L. Benfica, Benfica. With Mechelen, he won the Belgian Cup in 1987, the 1987–88 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, Cup Winner's Cup and the UEFA Super Cup, European Super Cup in 1988 and the Belgian league title in 1989. He also won the Taça de Portugal, Portuguese Cup with Benfica in 1996. He retired as a player in 1999, aged 40. Christian Piot (born 4 October 1947) is a Belgian retired football goalkeeper who won the Belgian Golden Shoe in 1972 while at Standard Liège. The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European association football, football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The competition's official name was originally the European Cup Winners' Cup; it was renamed the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1994–95 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, 1994.
