Micheal Spurlock
Micheal Curtis Spurlock (born January 31, 1983) is an American football coach and former wide receiver. He is the running backs coach for the University of Southern Mississippi, a position he has held since 2024. He was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Ole Miss. Spurlock has also played for the San Diego Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, and Florida Tuskers. Early life At Indianola School District, Gentry High School in Indianola, Mississippi, he passed for Class 5A state records of 3,348 yards and 35 touchdowns in 2000, also rushed for another 1,161 yards and scored 10 touchdowns, giving him 4,509 total yards and 45 touchdowns during senior campaign. Return yards is a gridiron football statistical measure that takes several forms. Reception (American Football)
In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from their team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. In most cases, after making the catch, the receiver will then proceed to run towards the opposing end zone carrying the ball and try to score a touchdown, unless the play ends due to him being downed or forced out of bounds. Kickoff (American Football)
A kickoff is a method of starting a drive in gridiron football. Additionally, it may refer to a kickoff time, the scheduled time of the first kickoff of a game. Typically, a kickoff consists of one team – the "kicking team" – kicking the ball to the opposing team – the "receiving team".
