Michael Van Praag
Michael van Praag (born 28 September 1947) is a Dutch association football, football Administrator (business), administrator and former referee (association football), referee. He was the Royal Dutch Football Association, President of the Royal Dutch Football Association from 27 August 2008 to December 2019 and a UEFA, Vice President of the UEFA since 30 June 2015. Van Praag previously served as AFC Ajax, Chairman of Ajax from 1989 until 2003. Career Van Praag was born in Amsterdam. He was Chairman of AFC Ajax, Ajax from 1989 until mid-2003. His father, Jaap van Praag (football administrator), Jaap van Praag, was also Chairman of the Amsterdam club from 1964 until 1978. The Garcia Report was an investigation produced by U.S. lawyer Michael J. Garcia into allegations of corruption in world football. On 17 July 2012, in the wake of announced anti-corruption reforms by Sepp Blatter, the president of the world association football governing body FIFA, the organization appointed Garcia as the chairman of the investigative chamber of FIFA Ethics Committee, while German judge Hans-Joachim Eckert was appointed as the chairman of the Ethics Committee's adjudication chamber. Dutch Football League System
The Dutch football league system consists of two fully professional leagues (Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie) and eight levels of amateur football leagues. The three highest amateur leagues, the Tweede, Derde and Vierde Divisie play in nationwide leagues and the five levels below are regional leagues.
