Michael Stanley (born Michael Stanley Gee; March 25, 1948 – March 5, 2021) was an American singer-songwriter, musician, and radio and television personality. As a solo artist and with the Michael Stanley Band (MSB), and Michael Stanley and the Resonators (MS&R), his brand of heartland rock was popular in Cleveland, Ohio, and around the American Midwest in the 1970s and 1980s. Early life, family, and education Michael Stanley Gee graduated from Rocky River High School in 1966. He attended Hiram College on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1970. Career Early career While in college, Michael Stanley was in the band Silk (called initially the Tree Stumps), which released an album, ''Smooth As Raw Silk'', on ABC Records in 1969. A few years after his graduation, while working as a regional manager for a record store chain, Stanley released his first solo album, ''Michael Stanley'', on Tumbleweed Records in 1973. Michael Stanley (born 29 December 1989, Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand-born, English raised, Samoan people, Samoan Rugby Union, rugby union rugby player. Career Stanley started his senior career in England with Saracens as an academy player from the age of 14. He made his senior debut for Saracens versus Toulon as a centre under the tutelage of Eddie Jones. Stanley was just 18 when he faced a Sonny Bill Williams in his prime during that match. He represented England age groups at U16, U18 and U20's. Mike Stanley
Robert Michael Stanley (born June 25, 1963) is an American former college and professional baseball player who was a catcher in Major League Baseball for fifteen years. Stanley played college baseball for the University of Florida, and thereafter, he played professionally with the Texas Rangers (1986–1991), New York Yankees (1992–1995, 1997), Boston Red Sox (1996–1997, 1998–2000), Toronto Blue Jays (1998) and Oakland Athletics (2000). Michael Rowland Stanley (born 6 November 1957) is a New Zealand sports administrator and former representative rower. He was a two-time world champion and represented New Zealand at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Stanley has since 2009 been the president of the New Zealand Olympic Committee. Early life Stanley was born in 1957 in Lower Hutt. Stanley and his three brothers all attended Westlake Boys High School, where he was from 1971 to 1975.
