Michael Steven Rodríguez Gutiérrez (born 30 December 1981) is a Costa Rican former footballer who most recently played for the National Premier Soccer League club Puerto Rico Bayamón. Club career Until recently, Rodríguez played club football for Alajuelense. In June 2008, he signed with the Seattle Sounders of the USL First Division in the United States. He currently has not played for the club, as he is awaiting his P1 Visa. On 24 June, Rodríguez made his debut for the Sounders in a match against Hollywood United F.C. in the 2008 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. In January 2010 he joined Pérez Zeledón. In October 2012, Rodríguez moved abroad to play for Indian outfit United Sikkim but he returned in June 2013 to play for Pérez Zeledón. Michael Rodríguez Galindo (born 29 July 1989) is a Colombian road racing cyclist, who currently rides for Colombian amateur team Fundación Herrera Team HYF. Rodriguez specialises as a climber. Biography Rodríguez's first strong international performance came with a 6th-place finish riding for the Colombia national team at the 2011 Tour de l'Avenir. He signed for the team when it formed in 2012, and was retained into the 2013 season. His first high placing in an open-age race came in stage 1a of the 2013 Giro del Trentino, where he finished third as part of a breakaway in the opening stage. Michael Rodrigues (born August 31, 1982) is a retired elite acrobatic gymnast who now performs in the Cirque du Soleil show ''Viva ELVIS'' in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with his former mixed-pairs partner, retired elite acrobatic gymnast Kristin Allen. Allen and Rodrigues won the gold medal in the mixed-pair all-around at the 2010 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Wrocław, Poland. They also won the all-around title at 2010 U.S. National Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships in Kissimmee, Florida, placing first in the all-around, dynamic and balance. They became the first U.S. athletes to win the mixed-pairs gold medal at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, which are considered the equivalent of the Olympic Games for acrobatic gymnastics. Texas Seven
The Texas 7 were a group of prisoners who escaped from the John B. Connally Unit near Kenedy, Texas, on December 13, 2000. Six of the seven were apprehended over a month later, between January 21–23, 2001, as a direct result of the television show ''America's Most Wanted''. The seventh committed suicide before he could be arrested. The six surviving members were all convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of Irving, Texas police officer Aubrey Wright Hawkins, who was shot and killed when responding to a robbery perpetrated by the Texas Seven. Four of the six sentenced have since been executed. Michael D. Rodriguez is a Chicago politician. He is the alderman of Chicago's 22nd ward and took office as a member of the Chicago City Council in May 2019. He was elected in the 2019 aldermanic election, in an open race to succeed incumbent alderman Ricardo Muñoz. Early life and education Rodriguez earned a bachelor's degree from DePaul University and a master's degree from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. He worked as an executive officer at the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office and was the executive director of the non-profit Enlace, an organization founded by Congressman Jesus "Chuy" Garcia, that worked on social issues in Little Village. Rodriguez ran for 22nd ward alderman in the 2019 election for Chicago City Council, in an open race to succeed incumbent Ricardo Munoz.
