Mike Reed (biochemist)
Michael J. Reed (30 May 1944 – 6 April 2009) was a British chemist who held the position of professor of steroid biochemistry at Imperial College, London. Scientific career Reed obtained a BSc in zoology from the University of London in 1967 and an MSc in biochemistry from Imperial College in 1969. He then commenced research into the actions and metabolism of ethinyloestradiol with Ken Fotherby at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, London, culminating in a PhD in 1973. He continued to work on the regulation of oestrogen synthesis in endometrial cancer before moving to St Mary's Hospital Medical School in 1976, to join Vivian James in the Department of Chemical Pathology. He then focused his attention to the regulation of aromatase in breast cancer. Reed was appointed lecturer at St. Mary's in 1978, senior lecturer in 1983 and reader in 1992. Michael Jerome Reed (born August 16, 1972) is an American football coach and former player. He is the assistant head coach, special teams coordinator, and cornerbacks coach at Clemson University. He previously served as an assistant coach at North Carolina State University, Philadelphia Eagles, University of Richmond and Kiel Baltic Hurricanes. Playing career Reed played college football at Boston College for four seasons. He was selected in the seventh round of the 1995 NFL draft as the final pick of the expansion Carolina Panthers making him Mr. Irrelevant. Michael G. Reed (January 6, 1975 – January 31, 2014) was an American professional football fullback who played one season with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Washington. Early life and college Michael G. Reed was born on January 6, 1975, in Washington, D.C. He first attended Woodbridge American High School in Woodbridge, England before moving back to the United States and attending Clover Park High School in Lakewood, Washington. Reed played college football for the Washington Huskies from 1994 to 1997 as a fullback. He rushed 10 times for 21 yards his freshman year in 1994. Michael Reed (born October 28, 1987, in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American soccer player. Career Reed played his college soccer with the University of New Mexico between 2006 and 2010, before signing his first professional contract with Minnesota Stars FC at the beginning of their 2012 NASL season. At the end of February 2015, Reed signed with NASL club Atlanta Silverbacks in order to help fill out their squad before the 2015 season. On 10 January 2018, Reed became Nashville SC's first-ever transfer signing when they purchased his contract from San Antonio FC, where he had been the team captain. Michael Benton Reed (born November 18, 1992) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, and San Francisco Giants. High school Reed was born in Maplewood, Minnesota. Michael Reed, (7 July 1929 – 15 December 2022) was a British cinematographer who worked on films and TV shows from the 1950s to 1980s, including '' Dracula: Prince of Darkness'' and ''Shout at the Devil''. Career Through the early 1950s he worked in the camera department at Hammer Films as a clapper loader and focus puller on films such as '' The Man in Black'' and ''Meet Simon Cherry'' before becoming the director of photography on Hammer's ''The Ugly Duckling'' (1959) and several Hammer horror films. Mike Reed (born May 26, 1974) is an Americans, American jazz drummer, bandleader, composer and music presenter. Career Reed was born in Bielefeld, Germany, in 1974, but raised in Evanston, Illinois north of Chicago.
