Mišo Broz
Aleksandar "Mišo" Broz ( sh-Cyrl, Александар "Мишо" Броз; born 21 May 1941) is a Croatian retired diplomat. He is the youngest son of Yugoslav president and Marshal Josip Broz (1892–1980) and Herta Haas (1914–2010). Biography He was born on 21 May 1941 in Zagreb. He was given the name Aleksandar at birth, but during the war he was given the name Micho, which he continued to use later. Josip Broz, then Chairman of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, met Herta Haas in 1937. The relationship lasted until 1941. Just before his birth, Nazi Germany invaded his home country Yugoslavia. His father, Josip Broz Tito, the secretary general of the then illegal Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ), had to move to Belgrade a few days before his birth (21 May). Independent State Of Croatia
The Independent State of Croatia ( sh, Nezavisna Država Hrvatska, NDH; german: Unabhängiger Staat Kroatien; it, Stato indipendente di Croazia) was a World War II-era puppet state of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. It was established in parts of occupied Yugoslavia on 10 April 1941, after the invasion by the Axis powers. Its territory consisted of most of modern-day Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as some parts of modern-day Serbia and Slovenia, but also excluded many Croat-populated areas in Dalmatia (until late 1943), Istria, and Međimurje regions (which today are part of Croatia). During its entire existence, the NDH was governed as a one-party state by the fascist Ustaša organization. The Ustaše was led by the '' Poglavnik'', Ante Pavelić."'' Franjo Tuđman
Franjo Tuđman (; 14 May 1922 – 10 December 1999), also written as Franjo Tudjman, was a Croatian politician and historian. Following the country's independence from Yugoslavia, he became the first president of Croatia and served as president from 1990 until his death in 1999. He was the ninth and last President of the Presidency of SR Croatia from May to July 1990. Tuđman was born in Veliko Trgovišće. In his youth, he fought during World War II as a member of the Yugoslav Partisans. After the war, he took a post in the Ministry of Defence, later attaining the rank of major general of the Yugoslav Army in 1960. After his military career, he dedicated himself to the study of geopolitics. In 1963, he became a professor at the Zagreb Faculty of Political Sciences.
