Dancing On Ice
''Dancing on Ice'' is a British television series broadcast from 2006 to 2014 and then from 2018 to 2025. It was presented by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern. Other previous hosts include Phillip Schofield and Christine Lampard. The series features celebrities and their professional partners figure skating in front of a panel of judges. The series, broadcast on ITV (TV network), ITV, started on 14 January 2006 and initially ended on 9 March 2014. On 4 September 2017, it was announced that a revived series would air on ITV from 7 January 2018 with Schofield and Willoughby returning as hosts. 2008 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2008 World Figure Skating Championships was a senior international figure skating competition in the 2007–08 figure skating season. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The event was held at the Scandinavium arena in Gothenburg, Sweden from March 16 to 23. Qualification The competition was open to skaters from ISU member nations who had reached the age of 15 by July 1, 2007. The corresponding competition for younger skaters was the 2008 World Junior Championships. The 2015 World Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2014–15 season. Figure skaters competed for the title of World champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing. In June 2012, it was announced that Shanghai, China would host the 2015 Worlds. All events were held at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. Amani Fancy
Amani Fancy (born 14 July 1997) is an English pair skater. With former skating partner Christopher Boyadji, she is the 2015 CS Tallinn Trophy bronze medalist and a two-time British national champion (2014 and 2016). After that she was a pro ice-skater on the German version of ''Dancing On Ice'' in 2019, before joining the British version in 2024. She studied at Royal Holloway, University of London (2016–2020). Personal life Amani Fancy was born on 14 July 1997 in London, England. She lived in Oman as a child. Matt Evers (born March 16, 1976) is an American pair skater, model and actor. He is the 1998 U.S. Junior champion, and was a professional skater on the ITV series ''Dancing on Ice'' (2006–2023). Career With his partner Heather Allebach, Evers won the Junior pairs title at the 1998 U.S. Championships. The following season, they competed at three senior international events, 1998 Skate Canada International, 1998 Cup of Russia and 1998 Nebelhorn Trophy. Annette Dytrt, also Dytrtová (born 7 September 1983), is a German former competitive figure skater who also competed internationally for the Czech Republic. She is the 1999 Czech national champion and the 2003–06 German national champion. Personal life Annette Dytrt was born in Landshut, Germany, the daughter of Czech immigrants. She moved to the Czech Republic with her elder sister, Veronika Dytrt, in 2001 but returned to Germany after a year and a half. Career She won the 1999 Czech National Championships under the name Annette Dytrtová. Dytrt won gold at the German National Figure Skating Championships between 2003 and 2006 and made numerous appearances at the European and World Figure Skating Championships.
