Megan Jones (née Hess, born 1988) is an American politician from Iowa. Jones is a Republican member of Iowa House of Representatives from District 6 and has been a Representative since 2013. Early life In 1988, Jones was born as Megan Hess in Harlan, Iowa. In 2005, Jones graduated from Spencer High School. Education Jones earned a bachelor's degree in Law, Politics, and Society from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2011, Jones earned her JD degree from William Mitchell College of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Career In 2005, while Jones was in high school, she was a page for Representative Clel Baudler. While Jones was attended college, she was a clerk for Clel Baudler. Jones is an attorney with Hemphill Law Office. Megan Jones (equestrian)
Megan Jones (born 6 November 1976) is an Australian equestrian. She was a Silver Medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Jones began riding at the age of 5, continued through her early years in Pony Club before hitting the international scene in 2003 at the World Cup Final. In 2005, she won Melbourne International Three Day Event riding three star on Kirby Park Irish Jester, then later in the same year won the four star at the 2005 Adelaide Horse Trials on the same mount and a second in the two star competition on another. Chosen to compete in the 2006 World Equestrian Games, she was on the bronze medal winning Australian Event Team, and finished 16th individually. Megan Jones (rugby Union)
Megan Jones (born 23 October 1996) is a Welsh and English rugby union player. She debuted for England against New Zealand in 2015. She plays for Ealing Trailfinders at club level. Club career Jones played for Bristol Bears Women until she signed for Wasps Ladies in 2020, where she played as a fly-half and a centre. In 2022, she signed for Premiership Club Leicester Tigers, where she remained until the start of the 2025/26 season when she joined Ealing Trailfinders. International career Jones travelled to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro as a non-playing reserve for Team GB sevens. Being bilingual in Welsh and English and living in Wales until she moved to England aged 16, Jones made her XVs debut for England in July 2015, playing against New Zealand in the Rugby Super Series that year.
