Medical Aid For Palestinians
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a British charitable organization, charity that offers medical services in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Gaza and Lebanon, and advocates for Palestinians' rights to health and dignity. It is in List of organizations with consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, special consultative status with ECOSOC since 2002. Aim and history Medical Aid for Palestinians' stated aim is to meet the humanitarian needs of the Palestinian people. The organization and its programmes have been supported by the United Kingdom, British public, the UK Government (DfID), the European Union and international aid organizations.
