Medel () is a municipality in the Surselva Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. History Medel (Lucmagn) is first mentioned in 1315 as ''de valle Mederis''. Geography Medel (Lucmagn) has an area, , of . Of this area, 17.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 14.9% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.6% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (66.8%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
