Mayor Of San Jose Del Monte
The mayor of San Jose del Monte ( fil, Punong Lungsod ng San Jose del Monte) is the head of the local government of the city who elected to three year terms. The Mayor is also the executive head and leads the city's departments in executing the city ordinances and improving public services. The city mayor is restricted to three consecutive terms, totaling nine years, although a mayor can be elected again after an interruption of one term. Arthur Robes
Arthur Bardillon Robes (born November 6, 1963) is a Filipino politician and the current mayor of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. Robes also served as the former Representative of the lone district of San Jose del Monte for three consecutive terms from 2007 to 2016. He is married to the current Representative of San Jose del Monte, Florida "Rida" Perez-Robes. Robes has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Marketing at the San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Education Robes graduated from the San Sebastian College – Recoletos with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Marketing, in 1998. After graduating, he took up a Management course at the Asian Institute of Management and at the University of the Philippines, as well as an Executive Course at the Development Academy of the Philippines. San Jose del Monte, officially the City of San Jose del Monte (abbreviated as SJDM or CSJDM; fil, Lungsod ng San Jose del Monte), is a 1st class component city in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 651,813 people, making it the largest local government unit within the province of Bulacan and Central Luzon and the 18th most populated city in the Philippines. The City of San Jose del Monte, has proclaimed as a highly-urbanized city on December 4, 2020, by the virtue of Proclamation No. 1057, signed by President Rodrigo Duterte and shall take effect after the ratification in a plebiscite. San Jose Del Monte's At-large Congressional District
San Jose del Monte's at-large congressional district is the sole congressional district of the Philippines in the city of San Jose del Monte and one of seven in the province of Bulacan. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 2004. San Jose del Monte first elected a single representative city-wide at-large for the 13th Congress following the passage of Republic Act No. 9230 in 2003 which amended the 2000 San Jose del Monte City Charter (Republic Act No. 8797). Before 2004, the city was represented in the nation's lower house as part of Bulacan's 4th, Bulacan's 2nd and Region III's at-large districts.
