Maxwell Football Club
The Robert W. Maxwell Football Club (originally called the Maxwell Football Club of Philadelphia) was established in 1935 in sports#American football, 1935 to promote safety in the game of American football. Named in honor of Tiny Maxwell, Robert W. "Tiny" Maxwell, legendary college player, official (American football), official, and sports journalism, sports columnist, the club was founded by his friend Bert Bell, then owner of the Philadelphia Eagles Professional football (gridiron), professional football team and later commissioner of the National Football League (NFL) along with Edwin Pollock. Touchdown Club Of Columbus
The Touchdown Club of Columbus was founded in Columbus, Ohio, in 1956 by Sam B. Nicola at the request of state auditor James A. Rhodes, who later became governor of the state. Nicola served as the club's president until his death in 1993. More than a decade later, his son Sam Nicola Jr. took over the Touchdown Club. Andrew J. Talley (born April 6, 1943) is a retired American football coach. He served as the head football coach at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York from 1979 to 1983 and Villanova University from 1985 to 2016, compiling a career college football coaching record of 257–155–2. Biography Talley was hired by Villanova in 1984 to revive the Wildcats football program, which had been dormant since 1980. Brian Collins Westbrook (born September 2, 1979) is an American former professional football player who was a running back for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL).
