Maurice Foley (Australian Sportsman)
Maurice Hinton Foley (4 February 1930 – 1 July 2013) was an Australian cricketer and Olympic field hockey player. He played all three of his first-class cricket matches in 1953/54, for Western Australia. In 1956 he was a member of the Australian team at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics in field hockey. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field, at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails (small sticks) balanced on three stumps.
