Anouk Matton
Anouk Matton (born 1992), known professionally as Mattn, is a Belgian electronic dance music disc jockey, singer, and record producer. She has regularly featured in the top 100 DJs poll and is known as one of the most prominent women in the EDM music scene. Career Mattn was born in 1992 and comes from Antwerp, Belgium. Her music has been styled as "electro-house", and she also combines singing with her DJing. She has played live sets worldwide, including at notable events such as Creamfields and Tomorrowland (festival), Tomorrowland. Mattn has produced a number of hit tracks, typically on the ''Smash the House'' record label, including "Café Del Mar 2016" with Futuristic Polar Bears that peaked at #22 in the Ultratop, Belgian charts in 2016. Charles Matton
Charles Matton, also known as Gabriel Pasqualini, (13 September 1931 – 19 November 2008) was a multitalented French artist: painter, sculptor, illustrator, writer, photographer, screenwriter and a movie director. Illustrations In the 1970s, Matton worked with Jean-Paul Goude at ''Esquire'', working as an illustrator and a photographer. The ''Boxes'' In 1983, Matton was able to show his art in Paris, and in 1987, he exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo. There, he showed what would become his famous ''Boxes''. Then, in 1989, he exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art of Paris, the Centre Georges Pompidou. During the last decade of his life, Matton showed his work all around the world, especially in New York and Los Angeles, through the Forum Gallery. Ida Matton
Ida Elisabeth Matton (1863–1940), was a Swedish sculptor. Biography Matton was born on 24 February 1863 in Gävle. She studied at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan in Stockholm She subsequently traveled to Paris to continue her studies. There she attended the Académie Colarossi and the Académie Julian. In 1888 she exhibited at the Paris Salon. She continued exhibiting her work in Europe; in 1896 at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, in 1897 at the Art Exhibition in Stockholm, in 1900 at the Exposition Universelle, and in 1901 at the Art Exhibition in Gefle. She also exhibited her work at the Palace of Fine Arts at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. Capitaine Jean Georges Fernand Matton was a French World War I cavalryman and flying ace. He was credited with nine confirmed and two unconfirmed aerial victories. Biography Early life Jean Georges Fernand Matton was born in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés on 27 October 1888. Military service Matton began World War I as a cavalryman. He earned a Mention in Dispatches for his performance, followed by an award of the ''Legion d'honneur'' on 5 January 1915. His award citation read, "Ignoring a serious wound incurred during the course of a reconnaissance, he transmitted the vitally important information that he had gathered." Roger Matton OC (18 May 1929 – 7 June 2004) was a Canadian composer,Begins with the Oboe: A History of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra'. Arboretum De Matton-Clémency
The Arboretum de Matton-Clémency (1 hectare) is an arboretum located in Matton-et-Clémency, Ardennes, Grand Est, France. The arboretum was created by volunteers, and now contains 150 species of trees, as well as a pergola, waterwheel, and pond with bridge. It is open daily without charge. In the mid-1990s, an arboretum was created on a former vacant lot. It is currently a well-kept natural space bordering the dark forest of the Ardennes. Matton Shipyard
Matton Shipyard is a historic shipyard and canal boat service yard located on Van Schaick Island at Cohoes in Albany County, New York. It consists of eight extant buildings, various surviving features, and archaeological remains dating to the period 1916 to 1983 when the site functioned as a shipyard, repair facility, and towboat operation on the New York State Barge Canal and Champlain Canal. Extant buildings include the office / stores (c. 1916-1917), watchman's building (c. 1936-1943), sheet metal shop (c. 1937-1938), carpenter shop (c. 1916 and 1936-1943), stores building (c. 1941-1943), pipeshop (c. 1936-1943), pitch building (pre-1936), garage (c. 1916), and electric building.
