Matthew Bennett
Matthew Ray Bennett (born April 9, 1968) is a Canadian actor, writer and director. He is best known for portraying Detective Len Harper on ''Cold Squad'' and his recurring roles as Aaron Doral cylon model number five in the reimagined '' Battlestar Galactica'' and Daniel Rosen in ''Orphan Black''. Career At the age of 20 he moved from his hometown of Toronto, Ontario to Vancouver, British Columbia to pursue an acting career. He studied theatre school for two years and after that acted in TV series including ''The X-Files'' and ''The Commish'' and telefilms such as ''A Killer Among Friends'', ''Anything for Love'' and ''Relentless: Mind of a Killer''. He currently lives in Vancouver but works in Toronto as well. He is known for playing the role of Robbie Shapiro in the Nickelodeon sitcom ''Victorious'' and for starring in the Will Ferrell-produced film ''The Virginity Hit''. Early life Bennett grew up in Massapequa Park, New York. After appearing in numerous commercials, Bennett began his official acting career at the age of 18 as Jamie, in the 2009 TV movie ''Totally for Teens''. He also appeared as Greg the Intern in the pilot episode of the Comedy Central sketch comedy series '' Michael & Michael Have Issues''. Matthew Robert Martin Bennett (born 2 September 1982) is an English cricketer. Bennett is a right-handed batsman who plays primarily as a wicketkeeper. He was born in Epsom, Surrey. Bennett represented England at under 18 level and played for Kent and Essex at second XI level. He also represented the Kent Cricket Board in 2 List A matches. The first of these came against the Leicestershire Cricket Board in the 2nd round of the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy which was held in 2002. His second and final List A match for the Board came against Derbyshire in the 3rd round of the same competition which was played in 2003. In his 2 List A matches, he scored 41 runs at a batting average of 41.00, with a high score of 31. Behind the stumps he made 2 stumpings. He currently plays club cricket for Reigate Priory Cricket Club in the Surrey Championship. Matthew Bennett (born January 28, 1993) is a professional lacrosse player for the Rochester Knighthawks and previously the Philadelphia Wings and Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. As well as the Brampton Excelsiors of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, Bennett began his junior lacrosse career in 2010 with the Junior B Mimico Mountaineers. Matthew Bennett (politician)
Matthew Bennett (20 January 1862 – 16 January 1951) was an Australian politician. He was born at Carngham to farmer Joseph Bennett and Elizabeth Ann Temby. He became a farmer at Benjeroop, and on 31 October 1889 married Mary Simpson, with whom he had four daughters. Around 1906 he moved to Yannathan. An active member of the Country Party from its foundation, he served on Kooweerup Shire Council from 1925 to 1951 and was president from 1931 to 1932 and from 1941 to 1942. In 1929 he was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly in a by-election for Gippsland West. He served until his retirement in 1950.
