Clarence Matthew Baker (December 10, 1921 – August 11, 1959

) was an American comic book artist and illustrator, best known for drawing early comics heroines such as the costumed crimefighter Phantom Lady, and romance comics. Active in the 1940s and 1950s Golden Age of comic books, he is one of the first known African-American artists to find success in the comic-book industry. He also penciler, penciled St. John Publications' digest-sized "graphic novel, picture novel" ''It Rhymes with Lust'' (1950), the first graphic novel despite that term not having been coined at the time. Baker was inducted into the List of Eisner Award winners#The Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame, Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2009. His influence can be seen in artists such as Dave Stevens and Adam Hughes.

Matthew James Baker (born 23 December 1977) is a British television presenter. He co-presented the children's television show ''Blue Peter'' from 1999 until 2006, BBC One's '' Countryfile'' since 2009 and ''The One Show'' from 2011 to 2020, with Alex Jones. Early life Baker was born on 23 December 1977 at Easington in County Durham where his father ran a newsagent's shop, and his parents had a smallholding in the village. He has one sister and two half-sisters. Matt attended Easington Village School, then, when he was aged 10, his parents bought a farm west of Durham, which they moved into and renovated. From the age of 5, Baker was a keen dancer and began competing as a gymnast whilst at school. Matthew Baker is an Australian bass-baritone who specialises in the performance of early music and Baroque operas and oratorios. Matthew Baker was born in Sydney and received his BA in Medieval Studies from the University of Sydney in 1997. Matt Baker (1955 – 2017) was an American Quarter Horse trainer and jockey. Early life Maddox "Matt" Lafayette Baker was born on March 26, 1955, in Columbus, Georgia and died on February 7, 2017. He grew up in Texas, graduating from Deer Park High School in 1974. As a teenager he was a jockey in east Texas and began his training career shortly thereafter. Matthew Christopher J. Baker (born 18 December 1979) is an English former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He stood as a Conservative council candidate in Leeds in 2010 but was not elected. Football career Baker comes from Leeds, and played for four years with Leeds City Boys. He was originally on the books of Leeds United as a schoolboy. However, he was signed as an apprentice at Hull City in 1996 and progressed through the youth ranks and turned professional in 1998. Mathew Baker (1530–1613) was one of the most renowned Tudor shipwrights, and the first to put the practice of shipbuilding down on paper. The first list of 'Master Shipwrights' appointed 'by Patent' by Henry VIII of England included 'John Smyth, Robert Holborn, Richard Bull and James Baker,' in 1537.
