Matteo Zanusso
Matteo Zanusso (born 9 April 1993) is an Italian rugby union player who plays as a Prop. He currently competes for Benetton in the Pro14. Born in San Dona di Piave, Matteo played locally for San Dona rugby club, which is known for its youth academy. Later he joined the first team, of which in his first year, the club achieved promotion to the National Championship of Excellence. In summer 2014, he joined Benetton Treviso, later fellow San Dona team member Amar Kudin Amar Kudin (born 9 August 1992) is an Italian rugby union player who plays as a Hooker. The United Rugby Championship (URC) is an annual rugby union competition involving professional teams from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales. The current name was adopted in 2021 when the league expanded to include four South African teams previously from the SANZAR Super Rugby competition. The league is one of the three major professional leagues in Europe (along with the English Premiership and the French Top 14), the most successful teams from which go forward to compete in the European Rugby Champions Cup. Since 2022–23, despite the name, South African teams have been eligible to qualify for European competition, and one South African place is guaranteed. Amar Kudin (born 9 August 1992) is an Italian rugby union player who plays as a Hooker. He currently competes for Fiamme Oro in the Top12. Born in Croatia, Kudin moved to Italy at a young age, spending most of his time at local rugby youths. The Top10, known as the Peroni Top10 for sponsorship reasons, and formerly Top 12, is Italy's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The Top 10 is run by Federazione Italiana Rugby (FIR) and is contested by 10 teams as of the 2019–2020 season, following the Italian federation's decision to name Peroni as the official partner of the Top10 competition. Prop (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. Players that play multiple positions are called "utility players". Forwards compete for the ball in scrums and Line-out (rugby union), line-outs and are generally bigger and stronger than the backs.
