Matsuo Station (Chiba)

Lines Matsuo Station is served by the Sōbu Main Line, and is located 82.5 km from the western terminus of the line at Tokyo Station. Layout The station consists of two opposed side platforms connected by a footbridge. The station is staffed. Platforms History Matsuo Station opened on 25 February 1898 as a station on the Sōbu Railway for both passenger and freight operations. On 1 September 1907, the Sōbu Railway was nationalised, becoming part of the Japanese Government Railway (JGR). After World War II, the JGR became the Japanese National Railways (JNR). The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of JNR on 1 April 1987. Matsuo Station (Mie)
is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Toba, Mie, Toba, Mie Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kintetsu Railway. Lines Matsuo Station is served by the Shima Line, and is located 48.4 rail kilometers from the terminal station, terminus of the line at Ise-Nakagawa Station. Station layout The station was consists of two side platforms connected by a footbridge. There is no station building. The station is unattended. Adjacent stations History Matsuo Station opened on July 23, 1929 as a station on the Shima Electric Railway. The line was one of six private companies consolidated into Mie Kotsu by order of the Japanese government on February 11, 1944. When Mie Kotsu dissolved on February 1, 1964, the station became part of the Mie Electric Railway, which was then acquired by Kintetsu on April 1, 1965. Matsuo Station (Nagasaki)
is a train station located in Shimabara, Nagasaki, Japan. It is on the Shimabara Railway Line which is operated by the third-sector Shimabara Railway. The line follows a scenic route around the Shimabara Peninsula, off the coast of the Ariake Sea. Japan National Route 251 also runs parallel to the station. Lines * Shimabara Railway ** Shimabara Railway Line Trains on this line terminate at Shimabarakō and , where travellers can transfer to the JR Kyushu Nagasaki Main Line and Ōmura Line. It is 35.2 km from Isahaya. Only local services stop at the station. Trains to Kazusa were terminated on the 1st of April 2008 after the stretch of line from Shimabara closed.
