Matias Lindfors (figure Skater)
Matias Antero Lindfors (born 15 February 1997) is a Finnish former professional footballer who last played as a midfielder for Ykkösliiga club KTP. Lindfors announced his retirement from professional playing career at the age of 27, after KTP had secured the Ykkösliiga title and the promotion to Veikkausliiga at the end of the 2024 season due to numerous injuries. The 2023 Veikkausliiga was the 93rd season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. The winners ( HJK, their fourth successive title win and thirty-third overall) qualified for the Champions League first qualifying round. The 2023 Finnish Cup winners (Ilves) qualified for the Conference League second qualifying round. The second-placed team (KuPS) and Conference League play-off winners ( VPS) qualified for the Conference League first qualifying round. The 2021 Veikkausliiga was the 91st season of top-tier football in Finland. HJK were the defending champions and successfully defended their title. Teams RoPS (relegated after eight years in the top flight) were relegated to Ykkönen after finishing at the bottom of the 2020 season. 2020 Ykkönen
The 2020 Ykkönen was the 49th season of Ykkönen, the second highest football league in Finland. The season began on 18 April 2020. New league format Ykkönen adopted a new league format for the 2020 season. The number of teams was raised from ten to twelve, and promotion series and relegation series will be played after the regular season. Each team will play against each other twice in the regular season. After the regular season the top six teams advanced to the Promotion Series which determines the champion and Veikkausliiga promotion places. The bottom six teams advanced to the relegation series.
