MasterChef Canada Season 5
The fifth season of ''MasterChef Canada'' originally aired on April 3, 2018, on CTV and concluded on June 19. Filming began in early September of 2017 and ended in November 2017. Sherwood Park resident Rebecca "Beccy" Stables (originally from Grimsby, England) won the trophy, title and $100,000 prize money. At the age of 19, Stables became the youngest winner in the history of MasterChef Canada, a title she currently holds, and tied the record for being the youngest contestant ever to appear and compete on the show. Following her victory, she relocated to Kelowna, British Columbia, where her family operates a private cheffing and catering small business gig and she currently runs a dessert baking website and blog calledessertclub Stables also guest-starred in an episode of the sixth season. Coulibiac
A coulibiac ( ) is a type of pirog usually filled with salmon or sturgeon, rice or buckwheat, hard-boiled eggs, mushrooms, onions, and dill. Cherry Beach
Cherry Beach (originally Clarke Beach Park) is a lakeside beach park located at the foot of Cherry Street just south of Unwin Avenue in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is on Toronto's outer harbour just east of the Eastern Gap. It was once connected with Toronto Islands as part of the former peninsula before 1852 and later as sandbar (also referred to as Fisherman’s Island). Despite its location at the tip of Toronto's formerly heavily industrial Port Lands area, Cherry Beach is a popular gathering place. There is no boardwalk and much of the surrounding areas is marshland or leftover grounds from what was once commercial industry and factory grounds. Black Forest Cake
Black Forest gateau, ( , ) or Black Forest cake, is a layer cake made out of cocoa powder, cherries, ''Kirsch'', and whipped cream, with dark chocolate as a decoration. The origins of the cake and its name are disputed. However, the cake's recipe from 1927 is kept at an archive in Radolfzell, Germany.
